Jowar Bhakri is healthy Maharashtrian cuisine also cooked in Gujarati, Karnataka and other part of India. In Karnataka is known as jolada rotti.

Level Of Cooking: Easy

Serving: For 4 to 5persons

Ingredients:

Jowar Flour (White Millet Flour)-300-400gm
Common Salt - 2-3 Teaspoon

How To Cook:

Step 1: Take the jowar flour in a bowl. Add salt. Mix well.

Step 2: Start adding water to it slowly and form a hard dough. Please note that the dough must not be soft like that of roti. If the dough is soft you will get soft bhakhris.

Step 3:  Form small round balls out of the dough.

Step 4: Take a ball and roll it flat in circular shape with the help of a rolling pin.

Step 5: Keep tava on low heat. Allow it to get little hot on the flame. Now spread the rolled bhakhri on the tava. Wait till small balls are formed on its surface. Flip the side and roast it for sometime.
