Rajgira sev, prepared using rajgira/amaranth flour which is nutritious snack that can be had during fasting time like Navratri, Ekadasi, Mahashivratri, Janmashtami or other upvas/ vrat days or any other day too.

Rajagara Sev

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

Pre-Preparation Time: Not Needed

Level Of Cooking: Easy

Serving: 500gm

Ingredients:

Amaranth Flour: 500gm
Lemon Juice: 4 Tablespoon
Black Pepper Powder: 2 Tablespoon
Red-chilly Powder: 1/2 Tablespoon
Salt: As Per Taste
Oil: To Fry

How To Cook:

Step 1: Take a vessel. Add amaranth flour, Lemon juice, red-chilly powder, Black pepper powder and salt together. Mix well.

Step 2: Make a dough out of this mixture with the help of luke-warm water. Grease it with oily hands at the end. The dough should not be too thick or too loose.

Step 3:
Heat oil in a pan. Add some amount of dough in the sev making machine. Grease the machine inside out with oil.

Step 4:
On a medium heat start creating Sev in a rotational direction.

Step 5:
Turn the sev to let it cook on the other side. Repeat the process few times to cook it thoroughly.

Step 6: Remove the sev when light brown in color.

Step 7:
Ready to serve.
