Coconut Pudding is delicious sweet made with coconut and milk, one of the best sweet for fasting days.

Coconut Pudding

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes

Pre-Preparation Time: Not Needed

Level Of Cooking: Easy

Serving: For 4 to 5 persons

Ingredients:

Fresh Coconut: 200gm
Sugar: 150gm
Fresh Butter (Not Salted): 50gm
Cheraunji Nut: 1 Tablespoon
Fat Based Milk: 1L
Saffron: 8-10 Strands (Optional)

How To Cook:

Step 1: Grease a vessel with butter and boil milk in it. Soak Cheraunji nuts in water.

Step 2:
Stir milk intermittently to avoid sticking at base.

Step 3:
Grate Coconut finely. Add it to the boiling milk and let it boil too.

Step 4:
As soon as the milk thickens add butter and sugar to it. Mix it well.

Step 5:
Remove it from heat when it becomes quite thick in consistency.

Step 6:
Add cheraunji nuts to it when it cools down.

Step 7:
Let it refrigerate for 1 - 1:30 hrs.

Step 8:
Ready to serve.

Note:

- If you want to add saf...fron in your pudding take 1/2 cup milk and dissolve saffron strands in it. Add them to the boiling milk during step 1.
- Also, To have a more chilled pudding allow it to refrigerate longer in your fridge.
