Ghevar is a Rajasthani disc-shaped sweet and Sheer means milk in Persian and khurma means dates. Here combination of Sheer Ghevar recipe is prepared by Mrs. Raziya Banu M. Lohani, who is the proud winner of cooking competition held by queenskitchen.in.

Cooking Time: 40 Minutes

Pre-Preparation Time: 20 Minutes

Level Of Cooking: Hard

Serving: For 4 to 5 persons

Ingredients:

For Ghevar - 100 Gm
Wheat Flour
50 Gm Ghee
1 Tbsp Rage Flour
1 Tbsp Soya Bin Flour
1-1/2 Thread Sugar Syrup
Ghee Or Oil For Dip Frying
1 Round Ring Mold For Ghevar Size
Ice Cube 7 Or 8
200 Ml Milk
Water For Batter
For Sheer - 500 Ml.ful Fat Milk
200 Gm Milkmaid
100 Gm Wheat Flour Save
50 Gm Mix Dry Fruit
1 Tbsp Ghee
1/4 Tsp Cardamom Powder

How To Cook:

For Ghevar:
Step 1: Thoroughly mix ghee and ice-cubes in a bowl.
Step 2: Now remove the ice-cubes and beat the mixture of ghee till it gets creamy.
Step 3: Prepare a batter by mixing flour, milk and water.
Step 4: Heat Ghee or Oil in a pan.
Step 5: Keep a mould ring in pan and pour batter in the ring with the help of a spoon and fry it.
Step 6: Now add sugar syrup to the fried Ghevar?

For Sheer Khurma:
Step 1: Heat ghee in a pan.
Step 2: Fry Vermicelli in it.
Step 3: Add milk to it and boil vermicelli.
Step 4: Prepare a mix...ture of mix dry-fruit powder and cardamom powder and add it to the vermicelli.
Step 5: Add milkmaid and prepare the thick sheer khurma mixture.
Serving method:

For serving:
Place ghevar in a serving dish and coat it with sheer khurma.
