Coarse Wheat Flour: 750gm,Curd: 100gm, Oil: 5 to 6 Tablespoon (for kneading), Salt: As per taste, Baking Soda: 1 teaspoon, Ghee: 500ml
Preparation Method :
Step 1: Mix thoroughly coarse wheat flour and oil in a vessel.
Step 2: Add Baking soda and salt to the mixture.
Step 3: Add curd and lukewarm water to knead a tight dough.
Step 4: Roll small balls out of the dough and press them using your thumb from the mid-section.
Step 5: Roast these balls in oven/cooker till golden brown. Also change its sides while roasting to cook evenly.
Step 6: Heat Ghee in a vessel. Soak roasted baatis in it for 5 – 10 minutes.
Step 7: Serve with dal.
