Farali Dahi Vada

Dahi vada is a type of chaat originating from Karnataka, India and here we are sharing Farali version of the same for your fasting time like Navratri, Ekadasi, Mahashivratri, Janmashtami or other upvas/ vrat days.

Serving: For 4 to 5 persons
How To Cook:
Step 1: (Curd Preparation) Mix salt, Cumin powder and sugar in curd with the help of blender. Keep it aside.
Step 2: (Pre-preparation) Boil little millet in salt added water and let it cool. Boil potatoes and mash them.
Step 3: Mix Groundnut powder, boiled little millet, Ginger-chilly paste, red-chilly powder, finely chopped coriander and salt in the mashed potatoes.
Step 4: Roll flat small balls of medium size from the potato mixture.
Step 5: Take water-chestnut flour in a vessel and coat all the balls with it.
Step 6: Heat oil on high flame.when the oil gets heated
... turn down the flame to medium.
Step 7: Fry the balls in oil till golden brown.
For Garnishing:
Place fried vadas in a plate. Pour spiced curd mixture and dates chutney over it. Sprinkle red-chilly powder, Cumin powder, Groundnut, Finely chopped coriander and pomegranate seeds to garnish. Serve.
