Fusion Cuisine: Dessert, Sweet
Green Peas Burfi is fusion cuisine, perfect combination of vegetables and dessert. Really popular among mother who is looking something healthy and sweet same time for kids.

Serving: 12 - 15 pieces
Green Peas: 250gm | |
Milk Solids: 250gm | |
Sugar: 200gm | |
Cardamom Powder: 8 To 10 Pieces | |
Grated Coconut: 1 Tablespoon | |
Ghee: 2 Tablespoon |
Step 1: Crush green peas to form a paste.
Step 2: Boil the paste with steam.
Step 3: Heat ghee in a vessel on low flame. Add peas paste to it. Stir for 5 minutes and let it cook.
Step 4: Shift the cooked paste into another vessel.
Step 5: Cook Milk solids on medium flame and keep it aside.
Step 6: Take sugar in a vessel and pour water till all the sugar is submerged. Heat it on medium flame.
Step7: As soon as sugar is melted and the water starts boiling, add cooked green peas paste and milk solids to it. Stir the mixture well... on low flame.
Step 8: Cook till all the ingredients are mixed well and ghee is separated from it. Turn off the flame.
Step 9: Grease a plate with ghee and spread the mixture over it. Sprinkle cardamom powder on it.
Step 10: Allow the mixture to cool down and settle. Cut it into pieces as per your liking. Garnish with grated coconut.
Note:1. You can also use silver foil for garnishing. 2. You can also use grated cashew and almonds for garnishing. 3. You can refrigerate this dessert to use it for a longer period.
