Farali, Fusion, Cake And Mafin Cuisine: Sweet, Snack, Desserts

Farali muffin is one of the farali snacks made with Rajgira/Amaranth/Rajagara flour which can be served as appetizer or as unique tea time treat.

Farali Muffins

Cooking Time: 40 Minutes

Pre-Preparation Time: Not Needed

Level Of Cooking: Medium

Serving: 10 - 12 Portions

Ingredients:

Amaranth Flour: 100gm
Sugar: 50gm
Salted Butter: 100gm
Milk Powder: 50gm
Baking Powder: 1 Teaspoon
Citric Acid: 1/2 Teaspoon
Vanilla Essence: 2 Drops
Chocolate Drink (optional): 3 - 4 Tablespoon
Milk: 50 - 75ml
Chocolate Chips (optional): 1 Tablespoon

How To Cook:

Needs: Cake mould and O.T.G (for baking)

Step 1: Add citric acid and baking powder to 100gm amaranth flour and sift the mixture finely.

Step 2:
Let the butter loosen up than intermittently mix amaranth flour and mix well.

Step 3:
Add sugar, milk powder, milk and vanilla essence to the amaranth flour mixture and stir all the ingredients together. (If you want to add chocolate drink than add it also in this mixture)

Step 4:
When all the ingredients are stirred well together pour them to half in a greased mould of desired shape. (If you want to add chocolate chips than sprinkle it on... the poured mixture.)

Step 5:
Bake the mixture in mould for 20 minutes in O.T.G at the temperature of 130Bake the mixture in mould for 20 minutes in O.T.G at the temperature of 130 degree.

Step 6:
After 20 minutes prick a toothpick into the muffin. If it does not stick , the muffin is ready but if it still sticks than allow it to bake for some more time.

Step 7:
When cooked, remove the mould. Muffins are ready to serve.

Note:
To store the muffins for a longer period refrigerate them.
