Rajgira puri is fried, puffed Indian bread made from rajgira/amaranth consumed during fasting like sravan, navratri and vrat.

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

Pre-Preparation Time: Not Needed

Level Of Cooking: Easy

Serving: For 3 to 4 persons

Ingredients:

Amaranth Flour (rajagra Puri): 250gm
Oil (to Fry): 300gm
Warm Water (to Knead The Dough): 50-75ml
Salt: As Per Taste

How To Cook:

Step 1: Add salt to amaranth flour (keep aside around 25 gm flour). Knead the dough with warm water.

Step 2: Make small balls out of the dough instantly, coat it with the amaranth flour kept aside and roll puris with the help of a rolling pin.

Step 3: Heat Oil in a frying pan on high flame and fry puris simultaneously while rolling puris on the other side. Keep the heat on medium flame while frying puris.

Step 4: Serve hot.
