Sabudana Vada / Petis : Ingredients List:












Sago: 250gm, Roasted groundnut powder: 150gm, Boiled potato: 400gm, Ginger-chilly paste: 5 tablespoon, Lemon: 1 or Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon, Red-chilly powder: 1 tablespoon, Mixed spices powder: 1/2 tablespoon, Finely chopped coriander leaves: 2 tablespoon, Amaranth or Water-chestnut Flour: 3 tablespoon, Oil (to fry): 400gm, Salt: as per taste

Preparation Method :

Step 1: (Pre-preparation) Soak sago for 1 hour in water. Strain excess water. Spread sago on thick cloth and let it dry.

Step 2: (Pre-preparation) Boil Potatoes, peel and mash them.

Step 3: Add Sago, Mashed potatoes, groundnut powder, salt, ginger-chilly paste, mixed spices powder, finely chopped coriander leaves, red-chilly powder and lemon juice in a vessel. Mix well.

Step 4:
Prepare small tikkies (rolled flat balls) from the mixture. Keep them aside with a closed lid.

Step 5:
Heat oil on high flame. Shift to medium heat when it gets heated. Fry the tikkies till golden brown. Serve hot.

Note:
If while frying the tikkies separate; add amaranth flour or water-chestnut flour to the mixture of tikkies and fry.
