Thepla (Farali) : Ingredients List:












Amaranth Flour: 500gm, Water-chestnut flour: 250gm, Ginger-chilly paste: 4-5 tablespoon, Red-chilly powder: 2 tablespoon, Sesame seeds: 2 tablespoon, Curd: 50gm, Finely chopped coriander leaves: 50gm, Sugar: 2 tablespoon, Cumin-coriander powder: 2 tablespoon, Oil: 2 tablespoon + for shallow frying, Salt: as per taste

Preparation Method :

Step 1: Mix amaranth flour, water-chestnut flour, red-chilly powder, Ginger-chilly paste, cumin-coriander powder, Finely chopped coriander leaves, sesame seeds, sugar and salt together. Add 2 tablespoon heated oil in this mixture.

Step 2: Make a dough of this mixture with the help of curd and luke-warm water. Grease the dough with oil and let it rest for 10-15 min.

Step 3:
Make small balls out of dough and roll medium size flat breads from it. To save it from sticking on the base use amaranth flour or water-chestnut flour while rolling.

Step 4:
Heat Tava on medium flame and shallow fry the flat breads on both the sides till golden brown.

Step 5:Serve hot with  Tea, Green Chutney or Curd.
