Rice Khichu : Ingredients List:









Rice flour: 100gm, Water: less than half litre 300gm, Baking soda: 1/4 tablespoon, Green chilly (crushed): 10 to 12, Coarsely crushed cumin seeds: 1 tablespoon, Red chilly powder: for garnish, Oil: for greasing, Salt: as per taste

Preparation Method :

Step 1: Boil water in a vessel.

Step 2: Add salt and baking soda in the boiling water.

Step 3: Add cumin powder and crushed green chillies to the water. Allow it to boil for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 4: Now add rice flour to the boiling water and reduce the heat to low flame. Stir the mixture with the help of a spatula or rolling pin until all the components are mixed well.

Step 5: Close the vessel with a lid and allow it to cook for another 3-5 minutes on low flame.

Step 6: Now turn off the flame but allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes with its lid closed.

Step 7: While serving, grease it with some oil and sprinkle red chilly powder as per taste. 

Step 8: Serve hot.
