Misal Pav is a popular Maharashtrian (mainly from Kolhapur & Nashik) street food. It consists of misal a spicy curry usually made from moth beans and Indian bread roll called pav topped with sev, onions, lemon and coriander.

How To Cook:
Step 1: Soak Green grams overnight in lukewarm water. Next day add salt and turmeric powder to the sprouted grams and boil them in pressure cooker.
Step 2: Make a liquid consistency paste using tomato, garlic, green chillies and water with the help of mixer grinder.
Step 3: Heat oil in a vessel on medium flame. Add curry leaves and fry them for few seconds to make them crisp.
Step 4: Now add the paste to it and stir well.
Step 5: Now add the boiled green gram sprouts to it. Add salt and red chilly powder to the mixture. Add water as per the consistency of your wish and allow the m
...ixture to come to boil. Please note that while boiling misal must be of liquid consistency.
Step 6: Turn off the heat when it comes to boil. Allow it to settle for sometime. Misal is ready.
Step 7: Garnish with finely chopped onions and serve with bread.
