Farali, Fusion, South Indian Cuisine: Chutney

Coconut chutney is a south Indian chutney, a side-dish or a condiment, common in the Indian subcontinent, unsupportable part of south indian dishes like dosa, idli, uttapam and here we are sharing Farali version of the same.

Farali Coconut Chutney

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

Pre-Preparation Time: Not Needed

Level Of Cooking: Easy

Serving: 100 - 150gm

Ingredients:

Coconut: 1
Curd: 50gm
Chopped Green Chillies: 3-4
Ginger (small Piece) Or Ginger Paste: 1/2 Tablespoon
Curry Leaves: 20-30
Salt: As Per Taste

How To Cook:

Step 1: Cut small pieces of coconut and keep aside coconut water.

Step 2:
Mix coconut pieces and coconut water and form a paste with the help of a mixture-grinder.

Step 3:
Now add Curry leaves, ginger, curd, chopped chilies and salt to the coconut paste and again mix it in a mixture-grinder.

Step 4:
Serve this Coconut chutney in a serving bowl.

Note:

If you don't have coconut you can use dry grated coconut by soaking it in water for 1/2 to 1 hour.
